3620004 - Case sensitivity issue in Assignment Profile rules for Custom column referenced values

• When adding values to the rules for referenced custom columns in assignment profiles, admins are experiencing issues with case sensitivity 
• A custom user field was created to map email addresses for writing rules in assignment profiles.
• When admins copy and paste email addresses from Outlook in lowercase, the system shows an error and does not accept the email address.
• Example:
  • You have a referenced custom column in LMS called EMAIL_ADD
  • The value for the field is stored as "Abc.Xyz@sap.com"
  • You create an Assignment Profile and try to create a rule with custom column EMAIL_ADD
  • If you add value like "abc.xyz@sap.com', you will get a validation error. "There are invalid values. The first few are listed below. Open the picker to see a list of valid values."

1. create a custom user field to map email addresses.
2. attempt to add an email address to the rules in assignment profiles by copying and pasting from outlook in lowercase.
3. observe the error and rejection of the email address.

This is working as expected. The referenced custom fields are imported as ID and cannot be changed.

1. For referenced custom fields, the values are imported and stored as IDs.Therefore, they are unique, and these values cannot be modified. Case sensitivity does not apply in this context. 
2. To ensure the rules function correctly, the administrator must use the exact values as they exist in the LMS system when configuring Assignment Profile rules for such custom columns. 
3. If you require this to be implemented in the future road map of the application in the admin side, you could raise this in the community portal via a new thread/query for an enhancement.
   • Enhancement: You could always raise this as an enhancement request in the customer community portal, and with business reasons, our engineering team would look into this request based on the kudos that it garners, along with the reason for the request, and they might implement it.
