3620069 - Delivery Date is in the past (Message ME039) - Displayed as Warning in Purchase Order

Symptom

Message ME 039 'Delivery date is in the past' has been set as an Error message within SSCUI 102364, however when creating a PO with the delivery date in the past can still be saved.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the SSCUI 102364 'Define Attributes of System Messages'.
  2. Set the message category of ME 039 to E and save it.
  3. Create a PO and enter a delivery date in the past.
  4. After checking, it was found that the system did not display an error to block the save.

Resolution

    Please ensure that ME 039 with Version 00 is set, rather than an entry without version 00.
