3620260 - Troubleshooting "Payroll Periods in T558B Do Not Correspond to Master Data" Error with Schema XLK0

Symptom

Payroll schema XLK0 and its corresponding country specific versions e.g. ELK0 for Spain, JLK9 for Japan and so on, are meant for the solely purpose loading Employee Data from a Non-SAP System into SAP Payroll e.g. if go live is January 2026, and maternity allowance is calculated based on the salary average of the last 12 months and an employee starts maternity in February 2026, you need payroll results for averages from February 2025 so legacy payroll results should be loaded as of February 2025. This is the purpose of XLK0 schema and its corresponding country versions.

When using schema XLK0 or its country-specific versions for payroll calculations, an error message is encountered stating, "Payroll periods in T558B do not correspond to master data. Payroll periods acc.to master data." This occurs when transferring payroll account data using tables T558B, D or loading legacy system data into payroll results before go-live.
