Symptom

Unable to select "Recommended Planning Area" -> “Auto-generate based on the table content” in SAP Analytics Cloud stories

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 1.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. open the story
  2. open the builder
  3. notice that 'planning enabled' feature is grayed out. 

Cause

Data refresh is not set to always refresh.

Resolution

Set Data refresh to always refresh from the builder
