3621017 - How To Record Time On Employee's Behalf

You have activated an employee as a substitution for tasks during your leave in Self-Services and you want to know how to let the substitution record time on your behalf.

It is not possible to let the substitution record time on your behalf only if you are an employee of his/her team.

Task substitutions are related to business task management in the system. When substitution is active, the substitute receives all the tasks that belong to the employee being substituted. The substitute can process the business task management items on the employee’s behalf. 

For recording time on employee's behalf, the employee's manager can Call Employee Services On Behalf in Managing My Area work center and edit time sheet on behalf of employee in his/her team.
