3621231 - Migrated consumption data not considered in determination of lowest value range of coverage - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Historical consumption data was migrated into the system. The same can be checked from Display Material – Additional Data – Consumption.

However, the data is not considered in determination of lowest value range of coverage.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Use the app: Determine Lowest Value: Range of Coverage.
2. Observe that no average consumption quantity is shown.

Determine Lowest Value: Range of Coverage app only consider actual posting for consumption. The historical consumption data is not considered during calculation. 

The best option would be to calculate the required values outside of the system for the first time until the movement data is sufficiently available in the system to use the standard functionality.
Alternatively, it's also possible to run MRN1 in their old system for the last year and in the new year end closing in the new system the necessary data should be there.
