You have received a communication from SAP stating that 'Stories in SAP SuccessFactors is successfully enabled in your instance' and would like to understand what would be the next steps from your side and SAP' side.

Resolution
Since early 2024, SAP SuccessFactors has begun to provision Stories to customers who have completed the IAS/IPS technical prerequisites but have yet to do the Upgrade Center activity to provision Stories in their HCM environment. We are helping customers to start their journey to Stories in People Analytics by provisioning these instances because:
- Provisioning Stories does not change any existing reports, reporting access or provide any new capability until customers take action;
- With our retirement announcement for Canvas and Table reports, we wanted to remove one step in getting Stories in place for our customers.
As an organization, you will receive a notification that your Stories environment has been provisioned. Below are the steps to take after receiving that email:
Step 1: Confirm that your Upgrade to Stories was completed (see page 11 of the Implementation Design Principles document).
Step 2: If your organization uses a Corporate Identity Provider (IdP), please follow the Conditional Authentication Configuration steps (see page 11 of the Implementation Design Principles document).
Step 3: Complete the IPS User Sync. You must know if you are using oData or SCIM API. SAP SuccessFactors recommends using the SCIM API as this allows you only to sync users who have access to Report Center into Stories. This reduces the volume of users in Stories and only has end users who have access to Reports (see page 13 of the Implementation Design Principles).
Step 4: Grant User Permissions to access Stories. Please see the SAP Help Guide or Page 17 of the Implementation Design Principles document.
Once all these actions are completed, you are now ready to use Stories in SAP SuccessFactors!
