3622230 - Skipped Approval Step Displays Initiator's Photo Instead of Approver's in Workflow Activity

When an approval step is skipped in a workflow, the activity side panel displays the initiator’s photo instead of the skipped approver’s photo for the Skipped Step activity.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Workflows

1. Configure a workflow with duplicate approvers.
2. Initiate the workflow.
3. Go to Manage Workflow Requests and search for the initiated workflow.
4. In the activity side panel, the initiator’s photo is shown for the skipped step instead of the skipped approver’s photo.

This is expected system behavior because the steps are skipped during workflow initiation. As a result, the system assigns the initiator as the actor for those skipped steps, which is why their photo is displayed.
