3622544 - Manual Address in E1EDKA1 Not Fully Reflected in the Address

Symptom

When creating a sales document via IDoc using function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS, if a manual address is provided in segment E1EDKA1 and field E1EDKA1-PARTN is populated, the system populates the address using the fields from the segment while also retrieving additional address details from the partner master data.

In some cases, fields from the partner master data may overwrite the values provided in E1EDKA1, even if different data is explicitly maintained in the IDoc.
The expectation would be that the address reflects only the segment E1EDKA1 data.
