3622651 - Measures like "Actual Value" in the "Sales Performance - Plan/Actual" app Lower than Other Analytics apps

After filling in the mandatory filter "Sales Plan" in the "Sales Performance - Plan/Actual" app, you will see the planned value and actual value presented in both chart and table formats. You find that the "Actual Value" (or other measures) displayed in this app may be lower than what is shown in other analytics apps for the same period.

The "Actual Value" is calculated based on the same date period of the sales plan, that is, the dates between the "Planned From" and "Planned To" in the sales plan. If the "Planned From" date of the sales plan is not the first day of a certain month/quarter/year, then the "Actual Value" in the "Sales Performance - Plan/Actual" app will not include all the days of that month/quarter/year. It is the same with the "Planned To" date.

Taking the below sales plan as an example, the sales plan period is between 06.01.2025 and 11.06.2025. For this reason, the "Actual Value" will only contain partial sales volumes during the sales plan period from 202501 to 202506. It will not include the date between 01.01.2025 and 05.01.2025 in the sales plan period 202501, and will not include the date between 12.06.2025 and 30.06.2025 in the sales plan period 202506, either.

To have the actual value in the "Sales Performance - Plan/Actual" app include all the days of a certain month/quarter/year, make sure that the "Planned From" and "Planned To" defined in the sales plan are the first and last date within the corresponding sales plan period.
