Symptom

Navigating from HCM/BizX to Learning Administration results in a blank/white page. The URL address shows "failedAuthentication.jsp".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to access the Learning Administration via HCM >
  2. Notice a blank page with 'failedAuthentication.jsp' in the URL address.

Cause

The Learning Administrator account does not exist, or the IDs between HCM and LMS do not match.

Resolution

  1. Use the Employee Export tool to export out all the users of the system >
  2. Find the corresponding user and note the User ID >
  3. Create a Learning Administrator account with the same User ID from the Employee Export job.
