3622947 - IDOC sent through SAP Integration Suite (CPI) is not getting created in the S/4HANA system

Symptom

  • The IDOC sent from a third party to the S/4HANA system via middleware (Integration Suite - CPI) is reaching the S/4HANA system but fails to be processed, resulting in no IDOC number being generated. 
  • An error is noted in the payload trace (SRT_UTIL): CL_SOAP_RUNTIME_SERVER. 
  • Also, the error "Unknown error occurred in the IDoc inbound processing" happens under the status "Message processing failed" in the Integration Suite platform (CPI).
