3623468 - Unable to edit personal details for business partner roles Employment (BUP010) and Employee (BUP003)

Symptom

While editing the BP with the roles Employment (BUP010) & Employee (BUP003) the following error occurs:

You cannot edit personal details using this channel.

Diagnosis

You tried to edit personal details using the Maintain Business Partner app, the Business Partner OData API, or the Manage Business Partner Master Data app.

System Response

An error message is displayed.

Procedure

Edit the personal details only using the workforce person integration channels (API, Excel, SAP Master Data Integration, JB1, Manage Workforce app).These are the details you can edit:
