3623499 - Brazil Withholding Taxes - Incorrect IRRF Calculation for Multiple Invoices without Manual WHT Values

Symptom

  • The first invoice with WHT for IRRF is posted with correct values, but subsequent invoices calculate an incorrect WHT Tax Amount for IRRF.
  • This issue arises due to an accumulation scenario where subsequent invoices incorrectly consider the full WHT Base Amount from the first invoice instead of the base amount with the INSS deducted.
  • In the WITH_ITEM table, incorrect values are stored in the Accumulated Withholding Tax Base Amount field (WITH_ITEM-WT_ACCBS*) for IRRF scenarios, where the full base from previous invoices is stored instead of the adjusted base.
  • The WTAK field also contains incorrect values, as the accumulated base amount should account for the dependency of IRRF on INSS. The INSS Withholding Tax should be deducted from the IRRF base amount, and the final IRRF base amount should be stored in WTAK.
  • Simplified Discount is not applied, so INSS is expected to be deducted from IRRF.
  • SAP Note 3379646 has been implemented in your system.
  • No manual values for WHT amounts were inputted when creating the invoice. For manual values for WHT amounts at the scenario, check KBA 3699027.
