3623506 - Error WE112 "The interval & is not internal" when setting GTIN/EAN number for product

• Error WE112 "The interval & is not internal" when setting GTIN number in Manage Product Master Data.
• During the International Article Number (EAN) check the error message "The interval & is not internal" appears. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open SSCUI/Configuration Activity 103680 "Define Number Ranges for EANs/UPCs".
2. Modify a number range (currently used by an EAN Category) from internal to external by checking the "External" checkbox and save the changes.
3. Open the Manage Product Master Data app.
4. Search for and open a product.
5. Attempt to set a GTIN Number.
6. Error WE112 appears.

An internal number range, which is assigned to at least one EAN Category, was changed from internal to external in SSCUI/Configuration Activity 103680 "Define Number Ranges for EANs/UPCs". 

When the system performs the EAN number check, it detects a conflict due to the internal number range being incorrectly set as external.

Use SSCUI/Configuration Activity 102782 "Define Attributes of EANs/UPCs" to update all EAN Categories that have an external number range assigned as an internal number range by changing them to an appropriate internal number range or leaving the field 'Internal number range' blank.
