3623949 - Add Button Behavior One Time Payments Latest People Profile - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

When adding one-time payment(s)/spot bonus via the 'Add' button inside the card, in the latest people profile, users see combination of recurring and non-recurring pay components.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

1. Go to any user's profile.
2. Select 'add' button to add a one-time payment/spot bonus.
3. Observe mixture of recurring and non-recurring pay components.
4. 
5. Navigate to 'All actions -> Take action -> Add one-time payment', observe only one-time payments are selectable.

Expected behaviour.

This is expected system behavior.

The 'Add' button in spot bonus/one-time payment card will behave the same way as 'add' button within edit in legacy people profile, which will not trigger workflows and shows a mixture of recurring and non-recurring pay components.

The behavior in the Latest People Profile has been summarized below.

Latest People Profile:

1. All Actions >> One-Time Payment/Spot Bonus:

• This is meant for MSS.
• A single record can be freshly created where user can only select non-recurring pay components.
• Workflow gets triggered in this scenario, if configured.
• Can grant permission for Employee data -> HR Information -> Non Recurring Payments and Deductions

2. Add button in summary card: This is same behaviour as Edit (pencil icon) in legacy profile.

• This is meant for HR Admins.
• This button appears ONLY when there are no existing One time payment records.
• Upon the click on ‘Add’ button in Summary Card, an empty form is opened with all field editable where Admins can add a new One Time Payment record (either recurring and non-recurring pay components can be selected)
• No workflow is triggered.
• Can grant permission for Employee data -> HR Information -> Non Recurring Payments and Deductions Edit Action

3. Edit button in Details page:

• This is also meant for HR Admins.
• This button appears IF One Time payment records already exist.
• Admins can also add new one time payments using the ‘Create’ button.
• Selecting an individual record, Admin can edit an existing record and also delete the same record, if required.
• No workflow is triggered.
