3623971 - Files Opened From Related attachments Monitor Show Blank Page

Symptom

  • In Related attachment monitor does not open the attachments for past days.
  • The user can open only PDF generated today.
  • If you try to open a file with Creation Date less than today, the file cannot be opened. 
  • Instead of opening the file, the system is showing a blank page.

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go To Survey Work center.
  2. Go to Related attachment monitor work center view.
  3. Click on the any attachment of past days (not today).
  4. Next window pops up however the page is blank and nothing happens.

Cause

The generated PDF is retained only for 30 days.

Resolution

Current behaviour of the system is that post 30 days, the PDF is deleted from the persistency and needs to be regenerated.

This is expected behaviour.
