You must follow-up on all potential EAD revocations and reverify each employee on Form I-9 if their EAD was revoked. Your employee may still be employment authorized based on another status or provision of law and may provide other acceptable Form I-9 documentation to demonstrate employment authorization.

  1. In SuccessFactors Onboarding > Manage Data > Create New: Trigger I-9 Flow. This creates a manual Form I-9 Reverification.
    1. Select the associated User/Employee you need to reverify
    2. Select the Trigger Type (Form I-9 Reverification)
    3. Select the associated Onboarding Process (typically, by searching by UserID; you want to ensure you select the correct/most recent Onboarding Process for this user.)
    4. Select Save. From here, a new I-9 Reverification Task is created and may be completed.

  2. In SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 > Settings > Features > ensure the Reverification - View All Activities feature is enabled. This will allow you to see, and act, on future I-9 Reverifications. From here, you can select a particular Employee and begin the Reverification process.
