3624527 - "External code for DistributionChannelCode XX of Map Group YY could not be determined" error

 "External code for DistributionChannelCode XX of Map Group YY could not be determined" raised by outbound Web Service message for service interface BusinessPartnerReplicationSelfInitiatedOut

SAP Cloud for customer

1. Go to the Web Service Message Monitoring under Administrator Work center.
2. Search for the Service Interface.
3. You will be able to see the error "External Code For DistributionChannelCode XX Of Map Group YY Could Not Be Determined".

Code List Mapping is not maintained for ABC as Local Code under DistributionChannelCode Local Data Type Name.

1. Go to Overview under Business Configuration Work center.
2. Search for Code List Mapping.
3. Open the Code List Mapping for Integration with External Applications and Solutions Activity.
4. Click on Maintain Code List Mapping Groups.
5. Make a note of the Mapping Group maintained for [YY]
6. Go back a step and click on Maintain Code List Mapping.
7. Under Code List Mapping Definition, filter for "DistributionChannelCode" as Local Data Type Name and the value noted in Step 5 as the Mapping Group.
8. Select it.
9. Create a new entry with blank LocalContext and ABC as Local Code and map it to the respective External Code XX.
10. Save it.
