3624737 - "The username exists in the system. Creating a new user requires a unique username." error pops up when rehire a regular user as a contingent worker.

Username exists in the system error occurs while rehire a regular employee to a contingent worker.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Contingent Worker  

1. Login instance, add contingent worker
2. Input required fields value including person id=123456
3. When click "Continue" button there will be a pop up to say there is a match, click "Accept Match"
4. Then re-input username is the same as 123456
5. Continue till the Submit
6. When click submit, there is an error pops up saying "The username exists in the system. Creating a new user requires a unique username."

This is a Known Issue.
