Symptom
"Accept Match" button does not show up in Add New Employee page when rehire an inactive user
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- Hire
Reproducing the Issue
- Login instance, go to Add New Employee
- Add company and event reason value
- Add the inactive user's first and last name
- Click "Continue" button
- The duplicate check pops up, however, no "Accept Match" button.
Cause
Employee Status selected in event reason is Discarded.
Resolution
- Go to Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures<Event Reason
- Select the event reason that is used for the inactive user
- Update the employee status to Terminated (external code is T in picklist center<employee-status).
- Save the change
- Update the inactive user's Termination record in Job Information.
- Add New employee again
