Symptom
- A SQL script is reversed to create a table index, with an index expression defined for the column(s), such as ASC or DESC.
- Alternatively, the index expression can be specified in an existing Physical Data Model (PDM) to define the ASC/DESC sorting order.
- The index preview and the database preview appear correct.
- Option Check Model is selected in the Database Generation window.
- Brackets are added around the column definition when generating the SQL file, resulting in a syntax error:
SQL Error [42601]: ERROR: syntax error at or near "ASC" - It works fine if Check Model is not selected.
