3625080 - Invalid Password (PIN) error when clicking on 'Role Import' tab in CMC -> Authentication -> SAP with SNC enabled

Symptom

  • When clicking on the 'Role Import' tab in CMC -> Authentication -> SAP, the below error may be seen:
    Initialization of destination <DESTINATION> failed: Establishing connection to communication partner failed at CPIC-CALL: CMRCV on convId: 45069094 with rc: 20 connection parameters: <PARAMETERS> LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) with Unicode ERROR GSS-API(maj): Miscellaneous failure GSS-API(min): Invalid password (PIN) target="<TARGET>" TIME Thu Jun 26 11:48:46 2025 RELEASE 753 COMPONENT SNC (Secure Network Communication) VERSION 6 RC -4 MODULE D:/depot/bas/753_REL/src/krn/snc/sncxxall.c LINE 3604 DETAIL SncPEstablishContext SYSTEM CALL gss_init_sec_context COUNTER 4
      
  • The error only occurs when SNC is enabled
