Symptom
When using the item description HTML editor, the tool does not recognize pasted text as text. A manual action from the administrator, such as pressing the space button once, is required before the save button becomes clickable.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Reproducing the Issue
- Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Items >
- Search for and open any item record and attempt to edit the description >
- Copy any text and paste it into one of the locales >
- Observe that the "Save" button remains grayed out, preventing any changes from being saved >
- Make any modification to the pasted text, such as adding an extra space. The save button becomes clickable.
Cause
This is a Known Error.
Resolution
This fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2025 release (b2511). For release timelines, please review SAP SuccessFactors Product Release & Road Map Information.
For VSaaS customers, this means that the fix is planned to be delivered as part of the b2605 release version, as per the schedule available at Learning Validated SaaS Release Schedule.
