Symptom

  • An inconsistency in the filesystem usage of "/hana/data" was observed across the multiple identical newly installed systems (e.g. PRD/DEV/QAS).
  • There has yet to be any activity on these systems.
  • The fragmentation levels of the data mount points differ significantly between systems.
    • Example fragmentation levels:
    • DEV: 21.82%
    • QAS: 10.78%
    • PRD: 23.62%
