3625336 - Looks Like Something Went Wrong Error In Time Account Balances Card Of Latest People Profile

• In Latest People Profile, Time Management section, the Time Account Balances card show error "Looks Like Something Went Wrong".
• The detailed error shows as: "Role-Based Permissions (RBP) security is not enabled for object TimeAccount. Ensure that the object has Secured configuration is set to Yes on the Configure Object Definition page".

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

1. Navigate to Employee's Full Profile in Latest People Profile (users other than self).
2. Go to 'Time Management' Category > Time Account Balances card.
3. The card shows the error "Looks Like Something Went Wrong".
4. On clicking on the '?', error shows as "Role-Based Permissions (RBP) security is not enabled for object TimeAccount. Ensure that the object has Secured configuration is set to Yes on the Configure Object Definition page"

• The Time Account object is not secured. Therefore, there is no permission for login user to view the Time Account balance of another employee.
• Enabling 'Access to non-secured object' only provides access to the employees when viewing their own Time Account Balances (i.e ESS scenario).

To ensure managers, HR or other eligible users are able to see other employee's time account balance information on the latest people profile, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Configure Object Definition > Time Account
2. Take Action > Make correction > set Secured as 'Yes' and Permission Category as 'Time Management Object Permissions'. > Save
3. Navigate to the Manage Permission Role > Edit all relevant permission roles > 'Time Management Object Permissions' section >  Grant 'view' permission to 'Time Account' object > Set the target population accordingly > Save.

NOTE: We recommend to follow the above steps with all time management objects that are not yet secured.
