Symptom
Compa Ratio and Range Penetration calculation formulas display an FTE value that differs from the FTE maintained in the employee's Job Information. Although the calculations consider the correct FTE value maintained in Job Information.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Compensation Information
Reproducing the Issue
- Identify a user with an FTE value less than 1.0 in Job Info and the "Maximum Decimal Places" for the relevant pay component group is set to "0".
- Navigate to the Compensation Information section of the user's profile.
- Open the Compa Ratio and Range Penetration formulas by clicking the "?" icon.
- Observe that the FTE value in the formula is different than what is maintained in job information.
Cause
The FTE value displayed in the Compa Ratio and Range Penetration formulas is rounded based on the "Maximum Decimal Places" maintained for the relevant pay component group.
Resolution
- Navigate to Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures-->Pay Component Group and find the relevant Pay Component Group.
- Locate the field "Maximum Decimal Places".
- Update the "Maximum Decimal Places" value to desired number depending on the required granularity for the FTE to display.
- Save the changes and verify that the FTE value in the Compa Ratio and Range Penetration formulas now displays correctly.
