• Error message: "There are already absences for XXX in period XXX, so this posting is not possible."
• The system reports overlapping absences during the import of employee time data.
• The issue persists even when no absences are visible in the specified period in the front-end system.

• Time Management

1. Attempt to import employee time data into SAP SuccessFactors Time Off.
2. Ensure no existing absence for subject user for the same date in the instance.
3. Observe the error message indicating overlapping absences.

If you are requesting for half days, please make sure startDate and endDate are the same date. If you are importing 2 different days for startDate and endDate while you are requesting for only 0.5 day, then this error would come up.
