Resolution

1. Is it possible to refresh a test tenant from the source system without copying all attachments or change documents so that the resulting tenant size remains below 500 GB?

Yes. A test tenant can be refreshed without copying all attachments or change documents, provided the selected refresh option supports the required scope. The resulting test tenant must comply with the size limitations defined in the Supplementary Terms and Conditions.

According to the contractual terms, test tenants are intended for non-productive use and should not exceed 500 GB in size.

2. Why cannot the 500 GB limit for test tenants be increased?

The size limitation for test tenants is defined according to their intended purpose as non-productive systems used for testing and validation activities. Test tenants are not intended to serve as full-scale backups of production tenants.

3. Can the 500 GB test tenant size limit be increased?

No. The 500 GB limit is a contractual restriction defined in the Supplementary Terms and Conditions and cannot be increased.

Note: To remain within the supported limit, consider reducing the amount of stored data, for example by excluding attachment data during tenant refresh activities where applicable or by performing data cleanup activities before the refresh.
