3626213 - Time From Hire to First Accrual Field not Updating eligibility Period After Recalculation in SAP Successfactors Employee Central

• After updating or removing the `Time From Hire To First Accrual` field on the time account type, the system continues to reference the previously set value.
• The accrual period is not reset to the new value in `Time From Hire To First Accrual` or to hire date if empty during recalculation, as expected.
• Employees remain ineligible for accruals for the previously set period (e.g., 3 months).

1. Set the `Time From Hire To First Accrual` field in Time Account Type (TAT) (e.g., 3 months).
2. Hire an employee.
3. Observe that the time account is created with an eligibility period starting after the set period (e.g., after 3 months).
4. Change the value of the `Time From Hire To First Accrual` field in Time Account Type (TAT) to be empty or to a new value
5. Trigger recalculation.
6. Observe that the system continues to exclude the employee for the previously set period (e.g., 3 months) instead of resetting the eligibility period to the hire date or the new value

This is expected behaviour

• When a value exists in the `Time From Hire To First Accrual` field at the time of time account creation, it automatically sets the `Time Account Type Waiting Period`.
• Once this waiting period is set, the system references it and no longer reads updates made to the `Time From Hire To First Accrual` field.

To fix the issue

1. Directly update the `Time Account Type Waiting Period` for the affected employees with the desired new date.
2. Test the changes in a test system to ensure the issue is resolved.
3. Apply the same update for all impacted employees via the following steps:

a. Export the `Time Account Type Waiting Period` and its template.

b. Update the `eligibleFrom` field in the template with the correct date.

c. Import the updated template back into the system.
