Symptom

SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) fails to load data into an on-premise SQL Server. Error message is the following:

org.springframework.dao.DataAccessResourceFailureException: PreparedStatementCallback; SQL Server did not return a response. The connection has been closed.; nested exception is com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: SQL Server did not return a response. The connection has been closed., cause: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: SQL Server did not return a response. The connection has been closed.
