Symptom
If business partners are not enabled in SAP ERP and customer and contact data is to be replicated using IDocs, it is recommended to consider the following steps during the initial data load.
Environment
SAP Sales & Service Cloud V2 Integration with SAP ERP
Resolution
- Replicate the relevant code lists.
- Replicate the sales organizations, sales offices, and sales groups referenced in the customer master data.
- Using transaction WE20, set "Collect IDocs" to true in the partner profiles for message types DEBMAS_CFS, ADRMAS, and ADR3MAS so that the IDocs are not sent out immediately.
- If non-self-reflexive partner functions are used, replicate customers without sales area data by maintaining a dummy sales organization in transaction BD64 for DEBMAS_CFS (e.g., 9999).
- Create the IDocs using transaction BD12 with appropriate filter criteria.
- Send out the DEBMAS_CFS IDocs using transaction WE14. Start with a small number of IDocs and verify successful processing in SAP Sales and Service Cloud V2 before gradually increasing the number.
- Send out ADRMAS IDocs using transaction WE14. Verify successful processing in SAP Sales and Service Cloud V2 and gradually increase the number.
- Send out ADR3MAS IDocs using transaction WE14. Verify successful processing in SAP Sales and Service Cloud V2 and gradually increase the number.
- Remove the filter group maintained in step 4.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6. DEBMAS_CFS IDocs will now include sales area data and partner functions.
- Delete the ADRMAS and ADR3MAS IDocs created in step 10 using transaction WE11.
