Environment
SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics
Resolution
You can now view the employee's performance management forms (in print preview format) directly from the Story report. As of 1H2025 release, you can configure a new deep link in your Story reports to view the performance management form data.
Pre-requisites:
- You need to have access to Stories in Report Center.
- You need to have the data permission: User > Performance > Data Access: Story.
How to configure the Hyperlink to PM Forms on the Story report?
Step 1: Create a New Story Report:
1. Go to Report Center > Create > Story;
2. Choose Optimized Design Experience;
3. Click Create;
4. In the popup, choose: SAP Live Connection > Select SAPSFSFREP >Click OK.
Step 2: Use Query Designer:
5. In Query Designer, From Available Schemas:

6. Drag towards the left to add Form Template and Form, then select fields like Document ID and Form Template Name or other relevant fields in your report;
7. Important: Ensure Document ID is added as a Dimension;
- Click the Column Overview icon
- Confirm it appears under Dimension, not Measure.
- Click on Preview Query, verify sample data output, and click Finish so the system navigates you to Story Designer.
Step 3: Add a Table widget to the Story:

9. From the Builder Panel, under Table Structure, Choose Cross Tab. If the Builder panel is not visible, select the right side panel from Menu bar.
10. From the Builder Panel again, add Dimensions: Document ID, Form Template Name.
Step 4: Add Hyperlink to Document ID:
11. Click on the Document ID column, click the 3-dot (More Actions) menu on the right;

13. Configure the Hyperlink:

Example:

Tip: Copy the domain directly from your logged-in browser tab. Ensure the hyperlink begins with https://
-
Expand IN USE;
Select Document ID (don’t type manually);
Check Open in new tab;
Ensure the URL configuration appears as shown in screenshot below;
Click Done;
Step 5: Enable the Hyperlinks in the Table:
14. Click the top left of the table widget;
15. Choose navigate to External URL;
16. Click to enable "Show Hyperlinks in Table";
17. After doing that, each Document ID will be a clickable link that opens the employee’s PM form in Print Preview mode;
18. You are now done! Please ensure to test the hyperlink in View mode to ensure it's working as expected.
