3626394 - Runtime error DATREF_NOT_ASSIGNED happens when changing Purchase Order

The runtime error DATREF_NOT_ASSIGNED occurs in the following scenarios:

1. When directly modifying objects in a Purchase Order (e.g., price or quantity), or
2. When indirectly modifying a Purchase Order through actions on related objects, such as sales orders.

This issue arises specifically when attempting to modify a Purchase Order that has been partially reduced and is linked to a WBS Element via account assignment.

The runtime error can be analyzed using the ABAP Runtime Errors app.

The hotfix will be deployed with the updates for CE2502 SP 13 and CE2508 SP 02, scheduled for delivery between July 18–20, 2025.
