3626408 - Document name maintained in Form Template for Label is not Correctly Reflected

When printing Label, the output PDF name is not the one which has been maintained in Form Template Maintenance but the default document name.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to Application and User Management -> Form Template Maintenance.
2. Select the relevant template for Label like Uniform Content Label.
3. Click Action -> Maintain Document Name.
4. Set the Document Name to a custom value.
5. Go to the Label View under Logistics related work center.
6. Search for any Label and print.
7. The output PDF name is the default name.

This is the system limitation.

As per system standard behavior, the system will not take the document name from Form Template Maintenance until the output document will be used as an attachment later, e.g. The output PDF will be sent to the recipient as an attachment in the e-mail.

However, for label, the output document will be directly sent to printer so that the output PDF will not be used as an attachment sent to recipient. Therefore, the name of output PDF for Label will always keep default.
