• The 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR extractor is authorization-aware by default.
• When BW requests data from ECC using this DataSource, the extract runs under the credentials of the RFC user defined in the SAP source system connection.
• The authorizations of this user in ECC determine which employee records are extracted.
• The extractor checks standard SAP HR authorizations (esp. object P_ORGIN, P_PERNR, etc.).

Example

• If the extraction RFC user in ECC only has access to employees in personnel area 1000, only those employees’ records will be extracted to BW.
