3626614 - How is the ship-from location determined in project stock order with item type pick-up

Some of the locations can be selected as ship-from location when creating new project stock order, however some of the locations are not there.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Select Projects view.
3. Search for the Project ABC.
4. Click Edit and navigate to Products tab.
5. Select Products Overview under Products tab.
6. Click on Create Project Stock Order button.
7. Change the item type to pick-up and you are wondering how the ship-from location is proposed by the system.

System only proposes the location with logistics use - Moveable Storage

Moveable storage -- this usage captures mobile storages. This could be a truck or a van.

Note: For both project stock and movable storage, only one Logistics Area under a site can have these usages.

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Go to Locations view.
3. Select one of the sites and click Edit Layout.
4. Add Child Logistics Area under the site and add logistics use Moveable Storage for the logistics area.
5. Then the selected site will be shown in the ship-from location value help list for pick-up item type project stock orders.
