3626628 - Process Communication Error in Project: "Project cannot process an update sent by a Expense Report"

You have noticed a Process Communication Error (PCE) on the Document Flow of one of your Project(ABC)

1. Work Center Project Management
2. Projects View
3. Search, Open and View All the Project ABC
4. Go to Sales Tracking Tab > Document Flow sub-tab.

To PCE is visible, click the red icon:

"Project cannot process an update sent by a Expense Report"

One of the fundamental causes could be that the unit of measure (such as kilometers) employed in one of the linked Expense Reports utilizes a unit of measure that is presently restricted within the configuration settings under Quantities and Units of Measure

1. Work Center Business Configuration
2. Overview view
3. Search the Configuration Element Quantities and Units of Measure
4. Click View
5. Click the hyperlink Create and Maintain Trading Units.
6. Search the Unit KMT (Kilometer) and unblock this unit of measure.

Once this will be done the system should restart the failed messages automatically; if not, feel free to create an Case with the Project ID and this KBA as a reference.
