3626837 - Unable to Verify Payment Currency Value Passed for Employee via Workperson Replication in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

You are unable to verify whether the Payment Currency value sent in the Workperson Replication payload has been successfully replicated.

  • The Payment Currency field for the employee's bank account is not visible in either the Manage Workforce app or the Maintain Business Partner app.
  • There is a perceived mismatch between the payment currency specified in the replication payload and the currency visible in the system.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Use the API https://api.sap.com/api/WORKFORCEPERSONMASTERDATAREPLI/overview to replicate workforce data.
  2. Populate the Payment Currency field in the payload.
  3. Attempt to verify the Payment Currency field in Manage Workforce App or Maintain Business Partner App.
  4. Observe that the Payment Currency field is not displayed in the UI. 

Cause

  • Payment currency is not displayed in the UI. 
  • Payment currency along with company code country and receiving bank country is used to determine the payment method. 
  • The payment method is maintained in the table FAP_H2R_PM_MAP. 

Resolution

To adjust how payment methods are determined based on input such as payment currency, maintain the relevant mappings in the table FAP_H2R_PM_MAP using the below steps: 

  1. Log on to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public system as a Configuration Expert - Business Process Configuration (SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT). 
  2. Go to Manage your Solution > Configure Your Solution. 
  3. Search for ID 103326. 
  4. In the Configuration Item area, choose Automatic Payments.
  5. Search for Map Payment Methods Used in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and choose Configure.
  6. Adapt the mappings based on your finance requirements.
