3626881 - Disqualified applications are being picked by RCM Entity Anonymization job - Recruiting Management

Symptom

The RCM Entity Anonymization job is anonymizing applications per the DRTM Job Application object's defined retention period for candidates that have deleted their own candidate profile even if they are in disqualification statuses.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Cause

This is an expected behavior.

Resolution

When a candidate decides to delete their own candidate profile or an admin deletes the candidate profile on behalf of a candidate, this means that the candidate data must be anonymized in the system.

As explained in the Implementation Guide, Application Anonymization Behavior, the disqualified applications will follow the retention period, and the RCM Entity Anonymization job will take the ownership of anonymizing data of these candidates, as it is part of its job to anonymize the candidate profile of candidates that have deleted their own profile or when an admin have deleted their profile.
