3626927 - Position entry date is not updated when Hire date is changed for an onboarding employee through the Manage Pending Hires- 1H 2025

When an employee is hired through Manage Pending Hires by changing the hire date, the Position entry date field is not aligning with the hire date of the employee.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1) Create a candidate in ONB

2) Fill in a position for the candidate

3) Complete all the tasks and move candidate to Manage pending Hire(MPH)

4) Under MPH -> Onboarding, go to the candidate detail

5) Change the Hire Date in the header

6) Go to Job Info and notice that position entry date is not updated to the new Hire Date

Engineering have confirmed that this defect will be resolved via the 2511 release on 13th Oct 2025 in Preview environments and on 14-16th Nov 2025 for Production environments.

Workaround:

Please manually correct the position entry date in MPH.
