3626988 - BLOCKER: ONB 2.0 - 'Primary' Address getting overwritten by 'Mailing' address data through 'Validate Address' feature

• The customer has enabled the Address Validation feature and set ExternalUserVisibility to "Yes", thereby extending Address Validation support to Onboarding 2.0.
• During the Personal Data Collection step, when a new hire enters a Primary Address and uses the "Validate Address" feature, they are presented with matching address suggestions to select from and continue.
• However, when the new hire also enters an Alternate Address and uses the "Validate Address" feature, the Primary Address is unexpectedly overwritten by the Alternate Address.

Note: If the new hire only enters a Primary Address and uses the "Validate Address" feature, no issues are observed during the Personal Data Collection step.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 

1. Added a Primary Address and clicked on the "Validate Address" feature to select a matching address. The matching address was successfully pre-filled in the Primary Address section.
2. Clicked on the "Add Address" button to add a Mailing Address.
3. Entered the Mailing Address and used the "Validate Address" feature to select a matching address. The matching address was correctly pre-filled in the Mailing Address section.
4. Issue: The data in the Primary Address section was unexpectedly overwritten/replaced by the Mailing Address data.

This is a known issue.

• We would like to inform you that Engineering is already aware of the reported issue and is working on a permanent fix.
