3627027 - The header note entered in the Create Outgoing Invoices app is not displayed in the corresponding SAP21 XML file

Symptom

The header note entered in the Create Outgoing Invoices app is not displayed in the corresponding SAP21 XML file.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  • Enter the header note in the Create Outgoing Invoices app
  • Go to the Create Correspondence app
  • Fill in relevant fields and select correspondence SAP21
  • Download XML

Cause

The Create Outgoing Invoices app doesn't support this functionality.

Resolution

Find the "Notes" tab in the Manage Journal Entries app, enter the notes, and click on the "Submit" button.  

Then, the header note can be displayed in the "<to_HeaderNote>" field in the XML.
