3627067 - Cannot delete position "employee null has already been assigned to it"

• Attempt to permanently delete a position
• Receive error: "You can't delete the position because employee null has already been assigned to it on date x..."

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Manage Positions
2. Check affected position
3. Take Action > Permanently Delete the position
4. Receive the error

Subject user of the workflow in pending status was assigned to the position but is now purged

1. Go to Admin Alerts page 
2. Search for Admin Alert "Workflows with Deleted Subject User"
3. Search for the same effective date that shows in the error message
4. Click on the workflow and action it to resolve the error
