Resolution
This is an Expected behavior.
Behavior for Multiple candidates
Select Multiple candidate -> Download Documents -> Select required information you required -> Click on Download ->You will have two options to download.
- Single PDF: All candidates information's gets downloaded under one PDF;
- One PDF per applicant, zipped into a single file: A single Zip file gets downloaded inside the zip file one PDF per candidate will be present.
Once the download has started, the job "RCMMassApplicationDocumentGenerationJob" will be scheduled in provisioning to complete the download. In the UI, there will be an in-progress download warning, where the user can follow the status of the request.
Once the provisioning job is complete, an email will be sent to the user notifying them. The recruiter can then navigate back to the applicant workbench, where they will see the option to download the documents at the top of the screen.
Behavior for Single candidates
Select Single candidate -> Download Documents -> Select required information you required -> Click on Download -> Your file will be downloaded in a single PDF.
Similarly to the multiple‑candidates process, there will be a box to follow up on and download the file once the request is completed.
Download file(s) outcome
The file(s) generated by the Manage Documents tool follow a cosmetic pattern, regardless of whether you choose a single PDF or a zipped file.
- They contain a header for each information you selected in the tool.
- The pages are numbered in the bottom-right corner (e.g. Page 1 of 9).
- The Applicant Summary header is always included in the PDF and contains the applicant’s name, email address, contact number, status, and application type. For example, if you select only one information item when downloading documents (e.g. Resume), the generated PDF will mandatorily include the Applicant Summary followed by the selected section.
- Resume, Cover Letter, and Other Attachments are added after a page break in the document. You may notice some blank pages with only the header visible.
This behavior is expected and occurs due to the size of the full-page images being added. When a large image does not fit on the remaining space of a page, a page break is triggered, resulting in a blank page with just the header before the image content starts on the next page.
