Symptom
Custom tasks completion notification is not triggering for custom tasks that are triggering at the same time on the same onboarding process.
Once the first task is completed, a blank notification for the second task is triggered.

Based on the product documentation and Engineering’s analysis, this behavior is a known system limitation within the SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding module.
The current functionality is working as intended. Since filters are evaluated at the process level (e.g., new hire), both custom tasks belong to the same process and therefore share the same trigger. Even when distinct filters are applied, both rules evaluate as true. To avoid sending duplicate notifications, the system is designed to send only one email.
As this is a system behavior by design, any changes or improvements would need to go through the product enhancement process. We recommend submitting an Enhancement Request to the Product Management team for review. Approved requests may be considered for inclusion in a future release.
