3627270 - Absence Data not Loading in Team Absence Calendar for a Specific Date Range

• You have encountered an issue where the Team Absence Calendar fails to load any team absence data for a specific date range with the following message, "Please wait a moment while we load the data".
• However once outside of this date range, the Team Absence Calendar behaves as normal.
• E.g. In the Team Absence Calendar, the date range has been set to August 10, 2025 - August 16, 2025. No data loads. However, once the date range is changed to a future date, e.g. November 2, 2025 - November 8 (or even further into the future, e.g. 1 year), the data loads and the Team Absence Calendar behaves as normal

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central > Time Off > Team Absence Calendar

1. Go to the Team Absence Calendar
2. See that for a specific date range, no data is loaded and the following message appears, "Please wait a moment while we load the data"
3. Change the date range in the Team Absence Calendar to a date in the distant future.
4. See that the issue no longer occurs

• An absence record for a user in the team absence calendar has been created and subsequently modified incorrectly within the affected date range.
• Once the user with the absence has been picked out, identify the external code of the absence (employee time) record. Please see KBA 2680786 - External Code of an Employee Time / Leave Request for assistance on how to do this.
• You will notice that the external code record contains a special character like "/". Special characters like "/" are not supported for employee time external codes and can cause issues in the system when the absence is trying to be read in the team absence calendar.

1. The absence must be cancelled. Kindly follow the steps in KBA 2439545 - How to Delete Approved Leave Requests for steps on how to do this.
2. Create the absence again. Once you have done this, do not make any changes to the external code and the issue should no longer happen.
