3627593 - Unable to see all required languages when importing dictionary items

Symptom

The options for all languages in the attributes do not appear in the attributes when importing item's in to the Dictionary.

Environment

SAP Signavio Process Manager

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to import a dictionary XLSX.
  2. Observe that the options for the available languages do not appear in the attributes drop down list.

Cause

The dictionary items have been exported from a workspace with multiple languages defined. The workspace that they are being imported to does not have these same languages defined.

Resolution

  1. In SAP Signavio Process Manager, navigate to Setup -> Define languages.
  2. Define the languages for the workspace. Ensure that the languages match those from the workspace where the items were originally exported.
  3. Note: The first language defined will be the default language. Changing the default language after it has been set will have a major impact on the workspace.
