3627800 - DB6: SQL0101N statement fails due to a memory limit and SQL0973N Not enough storage in the "application shared" heap when processing SQL statements.

Symptom

The SM21 System log and short dumps recorded in ST22 transaction with error 
SQL0101N The statement was not processed because a limit such as a memory limit, an SQL limit, or a database limit was reached.
The SM21 system log records the same error and in corresponding developer trace file, displays the following example.

ERROR in prepareStatement
SQL0101N  The statement was not processed because a limit such as a memory limit, an SQL limit, or a database limit was reached. 
IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664]
SQL0973N  Not enough storage is available in the "application shared" heap or stack to process the statement. 
INSERT INTO "TABNAME>
LOG BY4=> sql error -973   performing INS on table <TABNAME>
LOG BY0=> SQL0973N  Not enough storage is available in the "application shared" heap or stack to process the statement.
