3627839 - Job Information error when changing Pay Scale level field as an HR Manager (or HRBP).

Symptom

When the HRBP's initiate a job change in edit mode (via Edit button or actions menu), after changing the value in field pay scale level an error is thrown "You do not have permission to edit value, please contact your system administrator" which prevents the completion of the job information update.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login or proxy as a HRBP's 
  2. Navigate to employees profile
  3.  Initiate a job change in edit mode (via Edit button or actions menu),
  4. Change the pay scale level. 
  5. Notice the error message when upon changing the pay scale level field.

Error message ""You do not have permission to edit value, please contact your system administrator"

Resolution

  • Engineering team confirmed issue will be fixed in 1H 2026 release.
